Fianna Fail TD Jim O’Callaghan has said that the party won’t be submitting a motion of no confidence against the Taoiseach Michael Martin.
Speaking to RTE’s This Week programme, O’Callaghan said he hasn’t been approached by anyone over a motion and he wouldn’t support one if there were one.
However O’Callaghan did say he does support fellow party members requests for a meeting to discuss the recent Dublin Bay South by-election results.
He added we need to discuss why we as a party aren’t connecting with the electorate.
