GAA legend Marty Morrissey was interviewed on the Late Late Show about the tragic death of his mother, Peggy.
Peggy sadly died in a car crash last winter during a storm.
Marty thanked the Irish public for their support during the tragedy. He said that he came onto the accident and was able to tell his mother that he loved her.
His mother’s faith was very important to her and along with the ambulance workers, gardai and fire brigade, they all said a prayer at the scene of the crash.
After her death, Marty wanted one sign to know she was safe and happy. He did receive a sign, twice in fact, by seeing two butterflies, one in the Church and one at his front door. Quite unusual in the winter to say the least.
RIP Peggy.
