Sinn Féin have confirmed that their party leader Mary Lou McDonald will take part in Tuesday night’s Prime Time Leaders debate.
According to RTÉ News, Sinn Féin’s party spokesperson Pearse Doherty confirmed that Ms McDonald has agreed to take part in the debate with Mícheál Martin and Leo Varadkar.
Although Sinn Féin have said they are pleased to be invited to the debate, Doherty criticised the broadcaster for making a last minute decision which it should never have come down to.
