8-yr-old Malika Noor Al Katib, who tragically lost her life in New Ross on Sunday, has been laid to rest today.

In an interview with Southeast Radio, he stated: “Thanks to Allah, her mother is no longer in critical danger and is recovering,” reports Breaking News.
“It’s undoubtedly difficult. No one wishes to go through such suffering. It’s immensely sad; a parent should never have to bury their own child,” reports Breaking News.
Gardaà are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Malika’s death, as she was a pupil at New Ross Educate Together Primary School.
The post-mortem examination done by State Pathologist, Dr. Sally Anne Collis, was performed on Monday, but the results will not be disclosed due to operational reasons, reports Breaking News.
A man in his thirties has been discharged from the hospital and arrested on suspicion of her murder. His name is Mohammad Al Shaker Al Tamimi and he has been charged with murdering 8-yr-old Malika Al Kattib in Wexford.
It’s understood he’s a Muslim immigrant who recently reportedly was in prison in the UK.
