Pope Francis signed a Mayo jersey right before he boarded his Aer Lingus flight to head back to Dublin from Knock for yesterday’s mass in the Phoenix Park.
The Pontiff was asked by two airport staff members before he climbed the steps to the Aer Lingus plane.
He simply just signed his name, Francis, on the jersey, shook hands with the airport staff and went on his journey.
