Combat sports fans across the globe could be treated to another fight between Floyd Mayweather Jnr and Conor Mcgregor in the near future.
However in a surprise twist ‘money’ who defeated ‘The notorious’ back in August could step inside the octagon rather than the ring if the money is right.
Mayweather who boasted back in August he would defeat the Irish inside the octagon, said he would move over the UFC to compete in four blockbuster fights that would earn him a billion dollars.
The 50-0 undefeated fighter said: “You already know I’m a money-getting motherf**ker,” he said in the video. “I’m Money May. They just called me not too long ago and asked me to come back. I can come right back to the UFC.
“If I want, I can go, I can come right back to the UFC, I can go fight in the Octagon.”
“I can do a three or four fight deal in the Octagon and make a billion dollars. Remember, I’m Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, and you motherf**kers love me, and I love you motherf**kers.”
Although Mayweather’s statements has raised eyebrows in the fighting world it is yet to be seen if UFC chief Dana White will take him up on his offer.
