The Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald has accused the Government over its approach to the so called Green list travel policy.
Speaking during Leaders Questions this afternoon, McDonald described the new policy as cack-handed and it creates nothing but confusion at a time when the country needs clarity.
The Sinn Fein leader also stated that the policy is now at odds with public health advice in regards to foreign travel.
McDonald who openly criticised the Taoiseach Micheal Martin over the issue, said the overall handling of the policy was reckless that ultimately fails to provide any checks or balance.
