The Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has said that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are doing everything to keep her party out of power.
Speaking at Dublin’s Liberty Hall, McDonald said that both parties are trying everything and are using a deliberate tactic to keep Sinn Féin out of Government.
The Sinn Féin leader also said that both parties are refusing to accept that the outcome of the election and what the people voted for – which was change.
Although McDonald said that she respected both parties mandates, she stated that they both must respect Sinn Féin’s mandate.
