The never ending fiasco that is currently got all UFC fans in a bother, took yet another twist as chiefs at the mixed martial arts sport have denied reports that Conor McGregor will fight at this July’s UFC 200 event.

The latest news in what many are a calling publicity stunt comes after the Notorious recently tweeted that his rematch with Nate Diaz was back on. However those reports now seem to be false as UFC boss Dana White has claimed that “the fight is still off”.

White who has faced a backlash of criticism since calling of McGrergor’s scheduled fight reportedly told TMZ Sports that the Dubliner’s comments “are not true.”

White told the site: “We haven’t talked to Conor or his manager since the press conference. I don’t know why he would tweet that.” “All the media keeps asking me that. I feel like the scene in ‘Step Brothers’ when they ask if they can build the bunk beds.

“I don’t know how many more times I can say the fight is off or how many more press conferences I can have saying the fight is off for people to believe it’s off.”
