A play centre in Meath will open its doors on Christmas Day and offer free meals for the homeless.
Ark Playcentre at Pudden Hill in Garristown, Co Meath, will host homeless families on Christmas Day and offer a free three-course Christmas Day dinner, with a few hours’ play also available for children.
The meals will be supplied by local businesses, which fully stand behind such kind initiative.
Meanwhile, it is unclear whether or not the Government will make any effort to alleviate the homeless crisis in the near future.
