The Fine Gael party is under major pressure going into the last week of campaigning, as Sinn Fein has overtaken it in the latest opinion poll.
The poll, conducted by Red C on behalf of the Sunday Business Post, indicates that Sinn Fein is two points ahead of Fine Gael, according to the Irish Mirror.
The main three parties are positioned as follows:
Sinn Fein -24%
Fianna Fail – 24%
Fine Gael – 21%
If Fine Gael to slump then it’s almost inevitable that Leo Varadkar will no longer be Taoiseach.
Would you like to see both Fianna Fail and Fine Gael annihilated at the polls and cease to exist as political entities at this election? Let us know.
