Members of the public have been called heroes after they restrained a terrorist on London bridge on Friday afternoon.
The Mayor of London said that the civilians are heroic and represent the best of Britain.
The London Bridge terror attack suspect who was shot dead by police was wearing a hoax explosive vest Sky News revealed.
The attacker stabbed a number of people before being tackled by civilian by-standers and police, after a brief struggle an armed policeman shot the suspected terrorist twice killing him instantly. This incident was filmed by several individuals from vehicles on the Bridge at the time with their phones and videos showing the shooting are circulating on social media.
London’s Metropolitan Police have declared the incident a ‘Terror Attack’.
