The national forecaster has advised motorists who’ll be on the roads this morning to be extremely vigilant after temperatures plummeted overnight.
The advice comes after Met Eireann issued a status yellow snow and ice warning that remains valid until at least 10am on this morning.
People are advised to take extreme care, in particular or B roads where black frost is possible. If snow does fall, it’s likely to hit the northwest and southwest of the country.
People are advised to share the below warning with family and friends who’ll be on the roads this morning.
