
Met Eireann has confirmed a four-day-long cold spell starting on Monday evening, with temperatures falling to -4C at times.
According to the national forecaster, northern areas are likely to see snow and sleet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with daytime temperatures remaining in single digits.
Later in the way, the snow will give way to rain across southern areas, though snowfalls might linger further north.
