Met Eireann is today confirming a spell of good weather for the coming days as high pressure takes over weather patterns.
According to the national forecaster, overnight showers will mostly clear throughout Thursday and Friday, leading into a dry weekend overall, with temperatures reaching 21C.
The outlook is for settled weather for the first week of September, with higher than average temperatures for the time of year.
