Met Eireann has confirmed bright but cold weather for the coming weekend.
According to the national forecaster, Saturday and Sunday are expected to be bright, dry, and cold days, with daytime temperatures remaining in single digits, before plunging to below zero after dark.
The outlook is for high pressure to dominate weather patterns for the coming days, leading to dry and settled conditions.
