Met Eireann has confirmed that the current warm spell will last throughout the entire week, with temperatures hitting 27-28C at times.
Current indications show that the fine weather will remain over the weekend, with highest temperatures reaching the mid-20s.
The UK is currently experiencing a similar spell of mild and pleasant weather, as thermometers top the 30C mark.
