Met Eireann has confirmed that the ‘mini-heatwave’ will remain until the coming weekend at least.
Ireland is currently experiencing rather benign weather, with long sunny spells and temperatures reaching 25C at times.
Tomorrow, Thursday, is expected to be the best day of the week, as the thermometer is expected to soar to 27C across some areas.
The national forecaster has added that weather conditions will return to ‘average’ during Saturday and Sunday.
