Met Eireann has confirmed very unsettled weather to continue throughout the weekend, with plenty rain in store on Saturday and Sunday.
According to the national forecaster, the coming weekend will be a washout, with maximum temperatures hitting 14C at times.
The only good news is that the start of the following week appears to be more settled, weather wise, as high pressure builds over Ireland.
