Met Eireann has confirmed warm weather for the coming weekend, with temperatures reaching 24-25C, but the mini-heatwave will be short-lived.
According to the national forecaster, a mass of warm air will move over Ireland over the coming days, leading to a spike in temperatures.
The weather is likely to change by Sunday however, as more showery conditions return.
