Met Eireann extends Status Orange warning due to low overnight temperatures in 16 counties




Met Eireann is extending a Status Orange warning due to low overnight temperatures in 16 counties.

According to the national forecaster, temperatures will fall to -5C or -6C tonight in counties Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, and Roscommon.

The warning will kick in at 6pm and remain in effect until noon tomorrow.
