Met Eireann is today forecasting a mild Christmas Day, with temperatures reaching 12-13C at times.
According to the national forecaster, the weather will remain rather unsettled over the next few days, with strong winds and rain showers at times.
There is virtually zero chance of a White Christmas, but then again, Christmas Day in Ireland traditionally sees little to no snow.
