Met Eireann is forecasting a mostly dry and bright day today, but washout conditions are expected for the rest of the week and into the Bank Holiday weekend.
According to the national forecaster, today, Tuesday, will remain largely dry, with just some isolated showers, and temperatures reaching 14C.
The rest of the week is forecast to bring in rather wet conditions, with some heavy rainfall at times. Unsettled conditions are likely to continue into the following week.
