Met Eireann is this morning forecasting colder weather arriving this coming week, with the possibility of snow from Tuesday onwards.
According to the national forecaster, cold conditions will continue for the foreseeable future, with daytime temperatures remaining in single digits before plunging to subzero at night.
The only good news is that temperatures are expected to rise somewhat from the following week.
