Met Eireann is forecasting some freezing nights ahead, with temperatures sinking to -3C at times.
According to the national forecaster, temperatures will remain relatively mild on Monday, with afternoon highs of 9-10C. However, the thermometer will sink to below zero by night, with widespread frost formation likely.
Tuesday will be a bright but cold day, with daytime highs of 9C, again turning very cold at night.
The overall outlook for the coming week is for cold but mostly dry weather, with just some light showers at times, mostly across western and northern areas.
