Met Eireann is forecasting miserable weather today, with heavy rain and strong winds at times, and temperatures hovering around 13-15C.
The rain will ease somewhat by the afternoon in western regions, giving way to some sunny spells, but eastern areas will remain wet until the evening.
The outlook is for very unsettled weather over the coming days, with a lot of wet and windy weather conditions.
