Met Eireann is today forecasting a mix of showers and sunny spells for this week, with better weather expected by the weekend.
According to the national forecaster, there will be frequent showers between now and Friday, though there will also be some good sunny spells, with temperatures reaching 20C at times.
Things appear set to take a turn for the better on Friday, leading into a mostly dry weekend, and mild temperatures of 20-21C.
