Met Eireann is forecasting rain and snow to hit the country on Sunday, with highest daytime temperatures expected to remain in single digits.
Rain showers might turn wintry in areas of the east and northeast as temperatures sink to below zero at times.
The national forecaster issued an advisory note for snow and nice, which will be in effect from Sunday to Wednesday.
