Met Eireann is forecasting severe weather across western counties overnight as an Atlantic system moves along the coast.
According to the national forecaster, western areas will experience heavy and thundery rain showers throughout the night, which might lead to localized flooding.
A weather warning for heavy rain remains in effect for Munster and Connacht until 10pm.
