Met Eireann is forecasting stormy weather throughout the week, but better conditions are expected early in the weekend.
According to the national forecaster, eastern areas are likely to experience thunderstorms today, with the rest of the week expected to bring rain showers and sunny periods, with thunder at times.
Friday and Sunday currently look like better days overall, with drier conditions and temperatures reaching 18-19C.
