Met Eireann is forecasting sub-zero temperatures for the coming weekend, with blustery conditions expected both on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday will start off rather wet, with drier but colder weather moving in towards the latter part of the day. Saturday night is expected to be very cold, with temperatures dipping to 1 or 2C.
Sunday is predicted to be a blustery day, with a mix of sunny spells and showers and daytime temperatures barely reaching double digits. Sunday night is forecast to be very cold, as the thermometer sinks to below zero in some areas.
