Met Eireann is forecasting temperatures reaching 24C this week, with fine weather possibly lasting into the coming Bank Holiday weekend.
According to the national forecaster, high pressure continues to dominate weather patterns, leading to fine, mild, and settled weather.
The June Bank Holiday is currently looking mostly dry, with temperatures in the low- to mid-20s, best weather in western areas.
