Met Eireann is today forecasting the return of summer for a couple of days this week, with temperatures expected to reach 26C.
According to the national forecaster, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to see mostly bright and warm conditions.
The summer-like weather (by Irish standards) will not last however, as unsettled conditions will swiftly return by Friday.
