Met Eireann is today forecasting thunderstorms and localized flooding for Saturday, but temperatures will remain fairly mild.

According to the national forecaster, weather patterns will be rather unsettled over the weekend, with weather alerts possible.

The good news is that next week is shaping up to be very warm, with temperatures possibly reaching just a whisker under 30C.
