Met Eireann is forecasting rather unsettled weather for the weekend, but better conditions will follow next week.
According to the national forecaster, the coming weekend will see plenty rain, particularly around the west and southwest of the country, drier conditions elsewhere. The rain will ease towards evening.
Sunday will start off very wet, with showery conditions continuing throughout the day, mixed with sunny spells, and maximum temperatures of 19-20C.
Current indications suggest that next week will fare better, weather wise, with drier and sunnier conditions predicted.
