Met Eireann has issued its latest forecast, saying that some wintry showers might put an appearance during the Christmas weekend.
While high pressure will dominate weather patterns for the next few days, keeping the weather settled and mostly dry, and temperatures climbing to double digits, Met Eireann says that early indications show more unsettled conditions by the latter half of the week and into the weekend.
It’s too early to say for certain, but some areas might see light snow around Christmas Day.
