Met Eireann has issued a nationwide advisory weather note, as the country faces miserable conditions over the coming days.
According to the national forecaster, there will be frequent outbreaks of rain this week, sometimes heavy, which might lead to flooding in some areas where the soil is already saturated.
The only good news is that temperatures will be rather mild for the time of year, sometimes reaching 14C.
