Met Eireann has issued a nationwide Status Yellow warning for heavy rainfall.
According to the national forecaster, several bands of heavy rain will begin crossing the country from tonight through to Tuesday evening.
The warning kicks in at midnight, and will remain in place until 7pm on Tuesday.
