The national forecaster has just issued a nationwide Status Yellow warning for strong winds.
The warning will kick in at 9pm on Wednesday evening, and will remain in place until midnight on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning for counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Derry for the same period.
