Met Eireann has issued a new weather warning for strong winds affecting eight counties.
The warning, which will kick in at 9pm on Monday and remain in effect until 6am on Tuesday, covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Munster, Donegal, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo.
The national forecaster is predicting high winds with speeds of up to 110km/h.
