Met Eireann issues Status Yellow rainfall warning for eight counties




The national forecaster has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning, covering counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Tipperary, and Waterford.

The warning has been issued ahead of the arrival of torrential rain across many areas in these counties. Localized flooding is very likely to occur.

The warning will be in place from 8pm until 10am on Monday morning.
