Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow warning for high-temperatures affecting two provinces.
The warning, which will kick at noon on Thursday and remain in place until 6am on Sunday morning, covers Munster and Leinster.
Many areas in these counties are likely to see highs of 29C or possibly above.
