Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning ahead of stormy conditions throughout the day today.
The warning covers the provinces of Connacht and Munster, plus Co. Donegal.
According to the national forecaster, there will be heavy showers, strong winds, and some thunderstorms across many of these areas.
The warning will remain in effect until 9pm this evening.
