Met Eireann has issued a thunderstorm warning for seven counties.
The warning, which affects counties Cork, Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford, and Wicklow, will remain in effect until 9pm tonight.
According to the national forecaster, some of these areas might experience heavy showers, which might lead to localized flooding.
