The national forecaster has just issued two weather warnings, just in time for the weekend.
A Status Yellow wind warning will be in place for Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, and Kerry from 9am to 8pm on Saturday. Gusts of up to 100km/h are forecast during that period.
Separately, a Status Yellow warning for heavy rain has been issued for Cork, Kerry, and Waterford. The warning will be in place between 11am and 11pm on Saturday. Up to 35mm of rain is expected to fall across these locations.
