Met Eireann has issued an updated weather forecast for Christmas Day, now saying that temperatures are likely to reach double digits.
The latest forecast from previous days suggested a cold spell, even some light snow on the day, but it looks like that’s not going to happen.
According to the national forecaster, the cold snap is likely to hit later in the month.
