Met Eireann has issued an updated weather forecast for next week, saying that a ‘hot plume’ might cause temperatures to rise to 27C at times.
According to the national forecaster, weather conditions will start improving by tomorrow, Friday, and become gradually better as the days go on.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week are expected to be the best days, with temperatures rising to 25C-27C and little in the way of rain.
