Met Eireann has issued an urgent Status Orange weather warning for three counties amidst worsening weather conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Cavan, Donegal, and Leitrim, will remain in place until 10pm.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience thunderstorms, heavy downpours, and lightning.
