Met Eireann has just issued an urgent thunderstorm warning for seven counties.
The warning, which covers counties Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, and Mayo, will remain in effect until 9pm.
According to the national forecaster, some areas around these counties will experience severe weather at times, including strong winds, hail, and lightning.
