Met Eireann has issued and urgent nationwide weather warning ahead of the arrival of freezing temperatures on Monday evening.
The warning, which will kick in at 6pm on Monday, warns of hazardous walking and driving conditions across many areas of the country.
The warning will remain in place until 10am on Tuesday.
